The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis
3.0
I take back what I said about this being the worst Narnia book. I actually quite liked it second time around!
The story focuses on a young boy named Shasta and a talking horse called Bree. Along with a young girl and her horse, the four travel through Calormen, heading for Narnia, where the two horses are from.
I do think it’s probably the least ‘Narnia’ of all the books; the Pevensie children from ‘The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe’ appear but they are minor characters. That’s probably why I disliked it as a child but if you read it as a stand-alone book, I thought it was decent.
