In which Anne becomes a teacher, and meets the sweetest child and the sweetest mother (as well as many others, because these novels have oh so many characters). I don't know if I can say I loved this one as much as the last, because the first book is so dear to me. But this one certainly didn't leave me wanting more, and I sped through it. She matures significantly in this book, though it is still funny to me to think of a 17 year old being the commanding voice in a classroom. I loved the ending too, though coming with sadness, it sends Anne off perfectly into the next book. I would also recommend the audiobook for this one, I really like this narrator. I read a mix of print and audio.
