You And Me, Always by Jill Mansell
4.0
This was started at 2 in the afternoon and finished at 11pm. I'd have read it in one sitting if I had the chance to. It was so addictive and enjoyable and such a journey, I like how it was spread out over such a time period. As always with Jill Mansell, I adored the layering of the characters and all their stories. She does this so well. Often secondary characters are boring or feel like they're there just because the book is too short otherwise. But with Jill you feel like every character is equally important and their stories are complete and their personalities are whole. The book was funny and endearing. My only issue was with the relationships for no reason, I never understand why characters would be with someone they don't see a future with, especially when they actually love someone else. I'd have liked more of certain things but overall it was a really enjoyable read and really kept me interested. More romance never goes amiss for me but I appreciate Jill's writing enough to not really care too much.
