The Last Cuentista by Donna Barba Higuera

5.0

Five Stars. No question about it.

This story was so heartbreaking, but was an important reminder of the need for stories, and carrying on oral and written history. Especially the stories of our ancestors. They are walking libraries.

Reading the lyrics to the arrullo "Arroro mi Nena" made me miss my grandma.
