Felicia, a volunteer at a suicide prevention hotline, takes a call from a young girl threatening end her life after being sexually assaulted and videotaped. When Felicia discovers that the girl attends the same school as her son, she starts to reach out to her and try to help. After convincing her to tell her parents what happened and dealing with the outcome of that, Felicia learns that you never know someone - no matter how close you think you are.

This was a fantastic novella. As usual, Lucinda Berry writes about a topic that not may will. The way she handles the sexual assault of a young giel, the spreading of a viral video as well as lies about the girls character and the revleation of the culprit is perfect. In the span of almost 4 hours, Berry tells a fully fleshed out story that affects every part of you. A.J. Cook, J.J. from Criminal Minds, is the perfect narrator for this story. She manages to encompass every emotion the reader feels. Tessa Albertson does a phenomenal job bringing the victim to life. Hearing her sobs broke my heart and I could feel the devastation the young girl felt. Lucinda Berry is the master of the disturbed thriller. She will always be an auto-read author for me.
