Alright so this book was so hard to finish. I can read romance in 2 days max once it gets good but damn did I struggle reading this.
Xavier is so annoying just won’t shut up not even in his head. The book is also all on his POV and I hated that even more. Logan was an alright bf until he decided to become an asshole in the last 19 pages of the book. I feel like the author just threw conflict just cuz he realized his book was boring af.
Then of course like any book trying to pretend it’s a hallmark movie the love interest comes back and asks him to stay in the small town instead of going to a fellowship in Berlin( which would be amazing for his career and it’s only 1 year he could come back after) he tells him to give it a chance and stay with him because he’s now in therapy?? And he got a good review for his restaurant which means he’s not upset about failing anymore.
Book wise the author kept repeating sentences like “I’m blushing but he can’t tell cuz I’m dark skinned” he needs a better editing team.
The timeline made no sense and at the end I felt he overwrote paragraphs and still gave us nothing.
