The book in and of itself isn't necessarily bad, it just felt rather sluggish to read, and this is coming from someone who's read The Dialectics of Illustration without prior knowledge on Adornian and Horkheimer theory in under a month, so this book having taken me nearly 3 months to finish doesn't really speak wonders of it, in my point of view. Sure, though, this isn't a fully fledged objective aesthetic review, but an opinionated and short one.
