This was a fun ride all the way through. It had The Martian vibes, but from a teenage perspective. Romy is floating through space, orphaned and alone, waiting to land on a new planet to begin a settlement. When there is a hopeful encounter with another ship, we think her dreams of meeting another person and conquering some old fears will be the ultimate happy ending, but the universe has other plans. I really enjoyed Romy, her journey, and the way my mind went on a space vacation for a little while.
