So, this book was probably the worst book I've read this year. From the characters to the plot it was all very... melodramatic and unrealistic.
The romance was very rushed and honestly, odd. There were also some inaccuracies that were put in to make the story more dramatic, I guess.

Spoilers, but I don't really recommend this book to anyone so I don't care about spoiling it.

The whole thing with the trust fund from her grandfather, about she can't get her inheritance unless he has a MALE child by the time she's 26, and what she names it, doesn't sound legally realistic. I suppose there can be a stipulation on her having a child, but there's no way to control the gender. Not as far as I know. Also, what if she had fertility issues? It just doesn't make sense.

Also, Carter sleeping with Stewardesses, I think airlines have policies against that. Don't quote me, but I feel like that's something that's more recent.

I also have issues with how the male counterpart talks to our main character minutes after meeting her, and her responses. Now, I understand that people have their kinks and I am not shaming them for that, but... at the same time, he talks to her like he's known her for longer than 2 minutes. And she allows him.

There were just a lot of little things in this book that just didn't sit well with me. Least of all the dismissing of Clinical Depression, and how it was painted that a character ended their life because of a breakup. That is what I took issue with the most. I tried to read more after that discussion, but I just couldn't...

I have read books in this genre before, and most of them are very cliche and... not good. But this one was honestly the worst. I kind of only read it because I was falling behind my reading challenge.
