Yea…sorry loves but this one didn’t do it for me. If I had to rate this book purely off of vibes and smut it would be an instant 4.5/5 star but as a complete package it didn’t hit. The story started out very strong and I was invested and in love with both characters but the follow through and execution fell so flat. Josh and Jules bickering was fun and enjoyable in the beginning but it quickly became silly and childish 200 pages in. I didn’t like how Josh felt like he was the same man as Rhys and Alex but in a different font. It felt like I was reading about Alex but make him Asian and a doctor. I didn’t feel like the stakes were high enough in this book compared to the first two and the third act break up and resolution wrapped up to fast for me. I wanted Josh to grovel more than 12 days!!! All in all I had high hopes for this book but it didn’t come through for me.
