Okay, so, I love CLo. Their story, as authors, is my favorite and I really enjoy their books, but I had a little bit of a hard time with this one. Mostly with James in the first half of the book. I didn't like his snotty attitude about being a personal assistant. Yes, he changes and learns more about Carey, her situation and how much work she really does designing but... up until he stood up for Carey, I was writing him off just like I was with Melly. (Don't get me started on her, she's just the worst.)
I couldn't stand how he wouldn't actually help in any way with telling Melly what they found in the editors closet at the wrap party,he made Carey do it! All while looking his nose down at being a personal assistant. I'm making him sound really bad, but I promise he gets better and I really do like him a lot more now.
