Oh! How I adored this book. I’m so happy a dear group of friends on IG have been reading some of L. M. Montgomery’s works. In January we read, ‘Magic for Marigold’ and this month we read this book. It’s been such a treat to visit her world again! I think Jane is now up there in my affection with Anne and Emily. There were so many lovely passages and moments throughout this book - I marked several passages throughout, little comments or thoughts that struck a chord with me. It was so nice to see the lonely and somewhat awkward Jane come into her own as soon as she made her way to The Island. I’ll be thinking of this book for quite some time.
