I went into this thinking it would be cozy and feel good but the ending got me crying like a baby. Still quite wholesome but def also sad. Nana is a great cat and Satoru is a great owner. I loved all the stories of Satoru's friends and Nana's perspective on them as well. This book was enjoyable, sweet, and will make you cry a little. Friendship/relationship with a pet was written beautifully in this.
