#10 for 2019 PopSugar Reading Challenge: a book about someone with a superpower.
This book started off slow for me. The political, moves necessary to rebuild Winter didn't appeal to me.
However, from about half way through until the end of book 3, I was hooked. I really relate to the themes of choice, coming of age, and finding peace with who you are. Meira has to struggle to be okay with two halves of herself: Meira and the Queen. That balance is very hard, and there is a lot of inner turmoil associated with it. This is a good book to read to help understand that inner struggle.
