The Blackwood After Dark series continues in Caution and CCJ proves once again that she can write just about anything and I’ll enjoy it. With a slight twist, Caution gives a further insight into the paranormal side of Blackwood with Ambrosia and Cassius at the forefront.
This couple in particular was the funnier of the two and we get a better understanding of the lore Jones has crafted within this series. I do wish we had more time with this couple as it feels like this installment focused more on the world-building rather than the relationship so there was a bit of an imbalance here, however it was still an enjoyable read.
Highly recommended for paranormal black romance lovers!
