It's hard to review anthologies because the stories within cover such a wide range of topics, subgenres, and themes — but they're also incredibly fun to read for those same reasons, and Never Whistle at Night certainly delivered. Though based upon the central theme of indigenous horror, the short stories housed within this book were so varied in tone and plot that it was hard to guess what was coming next. There are definitely some stories that I will want to revisit and leave more detailed reviews for at some point.
