Thank you to @readforeverpub for my gifted copy of In A New York Minute for review!
I'm not always a fan of the term "meet cute", but Franny and Hayes are more a meet funny.
Franny loses her job, then has her silk dress rip in a New York subway door. The suit-clad and hot stranger Hayes is nearby to rescue with a jacket, though not before the whole public scene is committed to the social media world. Photos, GIFs, hashtags, morning television and all - they're the "SubwayQTs".
Now their relationship needs to catch up to what the rest of the world thinks it is!
In A New York Minute obviously (per the title) takes place in NYC, and is a bit of a love letter to the city itself.
The characters are charming and the story is quick-moving and witty. And closed-door steam for those who prefer that in their rom-coms. Recommended!
Paperback released on Feb. 7.
