I had pretty high expectations of "Hawkwing's Journey" going in, and they were very much met-- I think this stands alongside "Tallstar's Revenge" and "Crookedstar's Promise" easily as one of the best super editions, and it (ironically) feels like one of the most human stories told in the Warrior Cats universe. I love Hawkwing, I love the main cast, and I love the depth of the relationships and how much they struggle with everything SkyClan goes through in the book. It also felt like the writing honestly cared about every single one of our main character's intrapersonal relationships, which was deeply refreshing!
