The best Elle Kennedy book YET (although I have some recency bias... maybe it's tied with The Deal). I am in love with Jake Connelly and Brennah is PERFECT. I love them together. I appreciated that their relationship was actually very forbidden (she is Briar's coach's daughter; he is the star player for Harvard) and not just some fake reason the author had to force themself to come up with. There was also no third-act breakup which is always a huge plus for me. No major miscommunications, etc. And the mini fake dating trope (pretending to be with Jake to try to get an internship) was so great and not over done. And Brennah actually pursues a future for herself and Jake supports her every step of the way. Literally no complaints... I loved it!!!!
