Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great by Judy Blume
4.0
Shelia’s character development is aptly written from a spot-on age specific perspective. Shelia’s not nearly as sympathetic a narrator as Peter of the Fudge books, but maybe more interesting to read. Both characters deal with real emotions and character flaws that aren’t always pretty. If anything can remind an adult reader what it’s like to be a 9-10 year old, it’s Blume’s writing.
