Promised in Fire by Jasmine Walt
4.0
This book had me hooked, I couldn’t put it down!
What to expect:
✔️ Enemies to lovers
✔️ Dragons and elemental fae
✔️Prophecies/fate
✔️ Fated mates
✔️ Tensions and angst
✔️ Hidden powers
✔️ A spunky and determined FMC who accidentally wakes up the last sleeping dragon
✔️ A brooding and moody MMC whose instincts compel him to reluctantly follow the FMC
This was a good start to a new fantasy series and I’m intrigued to see where it goes from here.
Adara and Einar had clear chemistry and sizzling tension. I wasn’t a huge fan of the revelation of who Adara’s father was, that plot twist didn’t sit 100% well with me… nevertheless, their story is interesting and alluring enough that I will just overlook my slight discomfort for future books in the series.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75/5
