Listen when I say I was excited to read a book. Ive never been as excited as I was for this one. Everyone said it was graphic(it was), that it had twists (it did), that it was like watching a movie (it was), that it was entertaining... That's where I have to stop you right there. 

As yall can see, this book was the longest it's ever taken me to finish and I can listen to books at work, so I can knock them out easy. I wanted to put this down so many times, and I did. I read the first chapter, second chapter. Hooked me. Cool. And then I don't know what happened. It did that bouncing around in the story thing, not in the timeline just bouncing into other lives which is ok I guess. Not here . Hated it here. 

If you've seen some of my past reviews, you know I do NOT LIKE when the author makes the women seem stupid or incapable. The world already thinks this. I dont want to read about it. When you discover what Claire did and then continue to keep looking for more stuff. As I said already, "You keep knocking on doors somebody gonna answer!" So i put the book down. For a few days. Picked it back up and what do I get? AN ANSWER!! If you read it, you know I screamed "That's what you get for hunting so hard, Nosetta!" 

Anyway, there are twists, there are turns, but everything in between all that is just stupidity and to me that is boring. Would it make an exciting movie, hell yes. As a book... 😩 I'm just disappointed. 

Also if someone could explain to me the cover of this book with the water and necklace, I would love it. If its about the end and the "finding"  then alright, I got it.
