Did not finish book.
Is this writing really what people think is the standard for young adults? Because this is a prime example of why it shouldn't be.
I'm giving this zero stars, but I have to put a rating so I'm rating it 1 star on Goodreads. Just know, for the first time in my life, I am going to throw a book away. And it's this book. First off, the way we start off this book is atrocious. We start off with our main character complaining like a little 10 year old. She's annoying, a bitch, and acts like a 10 year old. Actually all the characters act like little children. For assassins, they are the most fucking immature teenagers ever. Is this book about teenage assassins or 5 year olds?
I'm not going to lie, this book seemed to have gotten worse in plot and in writing. It seemed the further along the book was, the more the writing just wasn't edited. This book was littered with spelling errors.
I'm also not going to lie when I said I only skimmed the book. It was a waste of time and I have zero interest in reading word for word. Just the first two pages were enough for me to realize that this book is not worth $17.50 and I wish I could get my money back. I should have returned it to Amazon before the return date closed. Now it's too fucking late. This book lacked depth and character development. I lost brain cells. It had a lot of potential, two teen assassins sent to kill each other but end up falling in love. But this fell flat. Zero character plot. Zero character depth. Zero spelling and sentence checks.
Before I go on this paragraph, know that I have read good books on Wattpad back in the days. Wattpad was where it was at when I was i Middle School. There are some good books so in no way does this paragraph say that books on Wattpad are bad. This book should have stayed on Wattpad. It was terrible. I don't think the author even bothered to edit it. It should never have been made into a paperback and she should have just kept it for the public to read only on Wattpad.
This book was bad. I warn you. DO. NOT. FUCKING. READ. THIS. Not only did I waste $17.50 on it, I wasted 20 minutes on this book thinking I could read this for a Youtube video.
Like I said, if I could rate this zero stars I would, this doesn't deserve stars, but, it's Goodreads and I have to rate it. So let that one star be a deterrent. Don't read this shit.
