Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
4.0
4.5 stars
OMG I LOVED IT SO MUCH. I had to knock down the rating a little bit because I wasn’t completely happy with how everything was dealt with and the ending was wayyy too perfect and wrapped up, but I couldn’t rate it any less than 4 1/2 stars, because Becky Albertalli’s writing is actually gold. I’m glad I waited until I was in the mood to pick up this book, because it was perfect and I absolutely adored it. Leah is so relatable and sarcastic and entertaining, and she reads really differently from Molly (and Simon, of course). But Simon and Molly were both in the book and AHHH I adored it SO much. I cannot WAIT for her collaboration with Adam Silvera. Becky is officially one of my favorite authors now.
