This was a brilliantly written book. I love how a very serious issue was handled through the eyes of a child. The characters could easily be real people. Nothing felt flat about them at all on thw contrary. Also, the audiobook was brilliantly done. However, even though there is nothing I disliked about this book and I think it's excellent I can't get myself to give it a 5 star rating. I think it's because even though I found it really moving, super well-researched all around beautifully done it didn't touch me or speak to me in any special way.
