The way I am absolutely devouring this series, while the pacing became a little slower in the middle with very little development I still really enjoyed this second installment. I will say the push pull between Lor and Nadir is probably my favourite part of this series, the slow burn and tension between them is what I love in a book and this one delivers it in every way.

Lor is a formidable FMC and I love how fierce she is when it comes to her siblings and her character growth from the first book to this one keeps developing and I'm here for it!

I do really love that we had the flashback chapters to see what happened to set everything into motion and felt this helped fill in any plot gaps there might of been. I'm really looking forward to continuing on with this series and see how everything plans out!
