If you've read Becky Chambers before, you know what to expect. Slice-of-life examination of the human condition and our place in the world, but in a sci-fi setting.
This one is less sci-fi than most of her work, though one might argue that humanity making it through the "Factory Age" to a society more or less in harmony with nature is more sci-fi than aliens who speak with face colors. A great book to read if you're having an existential crisis, it comes to basically the same conclusion that many of the existential philosophers did (though in a gentler manner). Short, but beautiful.
