Wonderful short read.

This short story is a great quick read! (My 5 yo son picked this out as a bed time story.)

We follow Etheny, where she's always in the library after school waiting for her step-dad Bob to come pick her up. She loves to read and will always have a book in her hand. One afternoon she comes across a
The adventure bookcase, out of place, between the B and C categories. She picks up a book and begins to read. Little does she know, she has stumbled across a magical bookcase where she goes on a mini adventure!

Without giving too much of the story, this was a delightful light read and showed how Etheny was able to cope with her mom's passing. This is definitely for older elementary school kids going onto middle school, but my son had no complaints while I read it.
