5.0

Deeply sad book,of life of Polish counties, teacher at University of Lwów, graduated from University of Vienna, worker of RGO (Polish charity organization) helping prisoners of war and racial doctrination.

Because of SS Krüger personal input to her case, she has been in concentration camp in Germany, and most of war years she has spended time imprisoned

However by Intervention of Italian aristocracy and few German officers, that acted on behave of that intervention. She still has to be imprisoned.

Also that Krüger officer, confessed to her, killing Polish tutors, scholars, professors of Love University, her friends.

Her unusual circumstances, that sometimes she has favorites, like decent meal. Was due to believe that her mother has been German.

In this book, there is this evidence of imprisoned woman, Polish, Czech, German, detailed view of life in woman camp. With dignity and class, they lived there. Unfortunately near the and of the war, soviet influence in between prisoners grew.

Autor, whenever she could, she read, and she mentions that Shakespeare was born when Michael Angelo died. Although when she tried Goethe or Scheler, she was stuned that, because of language and her memories, there was now an barrier, and even when she admits she owe a lot of her education to Germany.

How the same people can do such violence. All in the name of executing of the order, command, word no matter the effect, result.

Sad, and stressful reading.
