Rachel Garrett is a coroner who works nights at the morgue. Etienne Argeneau is a Vampire who keeps getting "killed" by his stalker - called Pudge. On his second trip to the morgue Pudge bursts through the doors with a gun and an ax and tries to cut off Etienne's head to finish the job - but Rachel jumps in front of Etienne and takes a direct hit with the ax. Etienne can't let Rachel die when she saved his life - so as Pudge flee's the room Etienne saves Rachel by giving her eternal life.

The rest of the story involves Rachel acclimating to life as a Vamp and them dealing with the Pudge issue.

An enjoyable take on the vampire lifestyle and a fun read.

I love that Etienne works on video games though, that's a plus! Creator of "BloodLust I & BloodLust II"
