this was good, although nowhere near as good as the first one. i cant help but compare it to this time tomorrow and past present future, even though the stories are pretty different. i just think that duology did this kind of story better. i did love the romcom epigraphs for each chapter, but i wanted more romcom vibes and references in the actual book. also some of the dialogue felt unrealistic. and liz felt like a different character. wes was still wonderful, though, and i loved the found family, and this was very emotional. i think it would have been more emotional if they had explicitly talked about the fact that they had both lost parents and talked about their situations in regards to that this review is also all over the place oops lol
