Official Blurb!:
With Reinenoir’s true identity revealed, it’s become clear her obsession with Indigo is personal. She wants him; him and his power.
But all Indigo wants is Cordelia. She’s the love of his life but she’s just shattered his heart. In every fibre of his being he knows they’re meant to be, that they have been, time after time, life after life. Indigo is torn: should he fight for her, or wait for her to realise their souls are irrevocably tied only to one another’s?
When they’re hit with an unimaginable tragedy, Indigo is forced to question the power of predestination and the true meaning of life, love and death. Will it bring him and Cordelia together, or tear them further apart?

Review:
My god I’m so glad the gang is back. If you haven’t read Descended yet, please do before you read further! I’m going to avoid spoilers but even still please just go read it. The series is set in Australia in the 1990s and weaves fantasy with action, teen angst and longing, with a bit of romance and adventure as well. It’s so well done and I need you to read this world.
This book had my emotions running the absolute gambit. I haven’t read a book in a very very long time that deals with grief and loss like this one does - the way a certain death is handled is...beautiful? Beautiful if not peaceful, and as someone who lost someone way too soon, it was incredibly comforting to read.
I absolutely loved getting back into the lives of Indigo and Cordelia and Robbie - they are such well written characters that they truly feel like people you know in your real life. The setting, as in the first book, is insanely nostalgic and makes you long for simpler days. It’s also always fun to see magic powers manifest in a contemporary world - it makes you believe that maybe (just maybe) magic is all around us.
I’m begging you to read Descended and add Transcended to your TBR - you don’t be disappointed!
