i am the biggest ottessa moshfegh fan on this planet, but i have opinions. her writing is unparalleled as always, and her perspective on the ugly, mundane, and gross are realistic and refreshing. i think every short story in this collection could be a fabulous book on its own, but i personally found it hard, and even boring to follow at times. maybe i just wasn’t in the mood. still love her and everything she does.
