Lex & Selena: Proof That Even Broken People Have Soulmates

There is so much to unpack in this book. I have no idea where to start. I am going to reserve personal judgement on these characters, their actions, and the decisions they made throughout this book. What I am going to rate is the plot, character development, and execution of the story. In my opinion, this book was brilliantly written and deserves all the stars allowed. Much more than 5, for sure.

The short of it, Selena takes pity on a traveler by foot in the rain and decides to be a Good Samaritan and pull over, offering the stranger, named Lex, a ride. Silly and unwise in todays society, we know. So, you have to wonder why a woman riding alone, on a dark and stormy night decides to open her door to give a male hitchhiker a ride.
