The Ghost on the Beach: Who Killed Eleanor Marlowe by Scarlett Dunn
1.0
Did Not Finish--Got up to books one and two and episode 10. After I was told I needed more tokens to read this I said nope.
So this is a story via Amazon's Vella. Vella is a way to read serialized stories. Issue is you have to unlock each chapter. And if you are reading a serialized story that is not doing much for you, you end up going eh after a while. As I said above, I got up to episode 10 and didn't want to spend tokens unlocking the rest of this story. It just reads as very silly and uninteresting. We follow private investigator Steele Harper who ends up moving into a home and keeps seeing a woman (Eleanor who is dead) walking along the beach.
The last time I read a serialized story was "The Green Mile. King gives you enough to want you to keep reading. Each story ends on a cliffhanger to get you going back for me. Dunn does not manage to do the same. Steele (I hate that name) was boring. I got so far and was just not interested in finding out anything more.
