Thank you Maggie for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve been waiting for Austin Hale’s book since the Beaufort Poker Club Series when he was introduced. He’s such a golden retriever, never gets the girl type character and I just loved that. He doesn’t know how to not care for people.

Caroline stole my heart though! She has dealt with Lupus diagnosis as a child, kidney transplant and overall having so much of her life sheltered. Austin helping her come out of her shell was great but also seeing Caroline stand on her own and demand what she wants was just amazing.
