Have no fear, Veiled Kingdom fans: Daddy Dacre and his infamous mouth are back and as hot as ever!
After the ending of The Veiled Kingdom, I was excited to see what could possibly be in store for Dacre and Verena. However, the sequel fell a little short of what I hoped for. It was still a very fun and steamy read, but felt like most of the action took place in the last few chapters. Once the plot got going, it was a spicy, stressful time, which I always enjoy!
Overall I enjoyed myself, I had just hoped for some more world-building this time around since the MCs were separated at the end. It did leave off on a cliffhanger that I am very interested in seeing resolved in the final book!
