Well. What the actual heck was that.

The first 80 pages or so, as I was getting used to the book's style (which I'd soon discover was NOT a constant), disturbed me a lot.

I got used to the weirdness at some point, but when the author started subbing in their own name for someone else's (even though it was a fancy literary reference) I felt like I was losing it, which was maybe the point?!

I was worried I wouldn't finish the book, especially as I'd seen so many 1 star reviews on here, but I gave it a shot and made it to the end. Just uncomfortable to read. And not one for people who don't like artistic descriptions. I'm an art-loving feminist but yeah, wouldn't necessarily recommend. Unless you want total creepy randomness, in which case go ahead.
