Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 3 by Hiromu Arakawa

4.0

Back from Winri's automail repair, the brothers find the library that should've housed Dr. Marcoh's notes burned to the ground. With the most Deus Ex Machina imaginable, the librarian has an impossibly good photographic memory and writes all the 1400 pages of notes from Marcoh. And I thought that in a sense this solution was cute and funny, but on the other hand it's a bit too much.

At least it seems that Al is not the only suit of armor that has a bound soul. And a fight scene ensues.

All in all, a solid volume, but I think the solution with the photographic memory was a bit too superficial. If the character has other uses and some rules to accessing their superpower then maybe it works, but I've been a bit... ehm... disappointed by the solution.
