Christopher's Diary: Secrets of Foxworth by V.C. Andrews

1.0

While at the library I found this book on the shelf and was instantly transported back to my high school days when I devoured the V.C. Andrews' Flowers in the Attic series. I checked it out on a whim and read it.
A grave mistake was made.
A terrible lapse in judgement occurred.
I am no longer allowed to just grab books off the library shelf all willy-nilly like, because I can no longer be trusted.
This book was wretched- poorly written, with no suspense or action. Basically, it just repeated, in journal form, what happened in the very first book, while hinting that disaster was very close by, yet never actually unleashing the disaster. And when I say poorly written, I mean that it was vapid, mind-numbing, and painful to read. So painful.
Lesson learned- some things just do not live up to their memory.
