This was so sweet and funny and then at other times so tragic!
Was kinda spoiled by that cover, drat it.
Also, my image of Dawsey from this book was that he was quite simple, reserved (maybe even shy), and calm

which made it all the more awesome when he attacked that dude

and then we got the movie version and like... I'm not complaining that man was hot, but the only reason I didn't fall like a brick was because I kept comparing him to the book.

Also him punching someone was a lot less impactful in the movie because he was more outgoing and assertive
