Okay, I thought this book was meh when I started it. It really didn't pick up for me until AFTER she got home. The rest! Man! Amaranth is someone you can truly hate! Her death was too quick and too painless! She was such an evil character!
What was really annoying was EVERYTHING was something she wanted to paint, or could not capture in her paintings, or something she wanted to paint, we get it, you love to paint!
I didn't understand why she didn't just tell him she loved him when she was sent home, but now I get it! There wouldn't be a story if she did! I'm curious to see how this plays out with Rhys. One week a month can do a lot.
