I loved this book, and kept reading just one more page (or more!)  I'm eager to read the sequel and any further books in the series.  Violet is a brilliant character and I love the dragons in particular.

I was sad to see Liam die, though I'm glad Yarros doesn't shy away from killing off the good guys too.

The reveal about Brennan was fun but it would have been good to find out more rather than ending the book on that moment.
