Blue Lock, Vol. 6 by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, Yusuke Nomura

Things are getting more and more interesting... We are really seeing Isagi and the others improving and honing in on their skills. They truly are reinventing themselves and evolving into stronger players. I loved seeing Isagi, Bachira, and Nagi team up for the three-on-three match. And the fact that they battled against the top three was really impressive. I actually really liked that Isagi, Bachira, and Nagi really struggled against the top three and had to think outside of the box to hold their own. I had a feeling that Isagi's winning streak wouldn't hold and I was right. It was hard to see Isagi be so overwhelmed by Rin's power. I thought that the top three would pick Nagi because he had the highest ranking on Isagi's team but they picked Bachira! Honestly, I think that was amazing. I loved the moment where Bachira says he wished that he could stay by Isagi's side to the end, but he's not waiting for Isagi. And that if Isagi wants him back, he'll need to steal Bachira back. That was a great moment!
I loved Isagi and Nagi's fight as well where Nagi points out that if he depended too much on Reo, then Isagi depends too much on Bachira. It was such an interesting point, because Bachira was the first one to see Isagi's "monster" and encourage it to come out. I'm curious to see how Isagi and Barou will interact, since Barou lost as well. I also want to know how the other boys of Team Z are doing. Will they all be able to be a team again after the second selection? Probably not, but one can hope.
