On the Marble Cliffs by George Steiner, Stuart Hood, Ernst Jünger

On one hand, this was interesting and contextually there’s just a lot to talk about. I felt like the first half - before the war spreads further - had some beautiful prose, but it definitely did lack in the second half.
I definitely think that this was important, and it opens up good conversations, but as a novel, as a fable …. I’m not sure I appreciate what it has to say/if it’s messaging has the most weight.
