Possession by T.M. Frazier

Gritty, violent and suspenseful, this book had me glued to its pages until its stunning cliffhanger. The action is non-stop, except for a few tender interludes of family time, friends time, or loving/sexy times between EJ and Grip. The fight between the Bedlam Brotherhood and Los Muertos is on-going and brutal. Both bands are fighting for dominion and abolition of the other band.
EJ and Grip are more defiant and determined to have a future, even though all the odds are against them. There are losses, pain and suffering and some surprises along the way as this couple fight for their love. There’s a moment where Grip, who is not accustomed to communicate feelings, tells EJ: “you are me”. She answers: “I know.” It can’t be any clearer, no one understands Grip like EJ does. She is so strong and brave despite all she suffers and yet, she is resourceful and loyal and all his.
“Grim may be the reaper of the Bedlam Brotherhood, but the man who represents darkness is the one who pulled me from it.”
Grim may be a criminal and murderer, but to EJ he’s just her man and he’s all that is light, love and redemption to her. And he won’t stop at nothing until she’s free of all the chains that bind her to Los Muertos. It feels like an impossible mission but I’m sure the author will pull out a magic trick out of her literary hat.
