What a cool little read! I went into this knowing nothing about Aquaman or Mera, but I still felt like there was nothing I was missing, aside from side character backstories. I loved the drawings and the colors so much; the contrast of Mera's hair with all the blues and greys, which is definitely making up for the lacking story. I also wasn't a big fan of how lacking in depth Mera seemed, but I'm such a sucker for superhero stories that I'll say I quite enjoyed this book.
