Maybe I'm on the minority but I liked Angie Thomas' sophomore novel than the other. The MC is still stubborn, but the character development y'all made me totally root for her in the end. Also, I was able to connect more to her character.

Other things I loved: the family dynamic, the friendship-support group, the love interest, and the songs..woah, the author is a genius with words.

Overall, this was a book to remember.
