The mental gymnastics June does to excuse her behavior is beyond belief. I found myself so frustrated that she did not have anyone around to guide her & talk sense into her. I would love to be able to know Athena from another perspective because June is too unreliable as a narrator. Which I am sure is Kuang point. At no point did I like June or understood where she was coming from. However, I did enjoy my time reading this and it definitely invoked frustration, irritation, and even made me laugh at a few points.
