Fire Maidens: Switzerland by Anna Lowe
4.0
Series: Billionaires & Bodyguards #9
Rating: 4 stars - It was really good
After a wonderful one night stand, bear shifter Heath Cauley heads to his new job as a bodyguard for a spoiled heiress. Instead he finds a stubborn and independent Fire Maiden, who is also the woman he spent the night with.
This book had some of my favorite tropes and I really enjoyed it. Heath was a protective bear shifter who never backed down from any of Claudia’s stunts. His history was heartbreaking but it made him into a great protector. Claudia is a stubborn and independent woman who hates the new security and restrictions on her life. I loved seeing these two fight their feelings for each other. The pinning and restraint was just soo good, especially once they gave into it.
The fight to protect the Fire Maidens finally ends with this book. Jaqueline makes another appearance and tries to destroy the peace. I enjoyed this final battle, especially since it introduced new kinds of villains in this world. Overall, this was a wonderful ending to this series and I really enjoyed Heath and Claudia.
